Bhagwad Geeta chapter 1 (part 2)
Do you ever heard about the war of Kurukshetra!?
The intensity of war could be imagined by the fact that the soil of the war ground is still red till today...
The thoughts of destructions due to war disturbed Arjuna a lot, then what Shri Krishna said to him? Why the war was fought?
Bhagwad Geeta means the song sung by God.
Many scholars said that even though the war of Kurukshetra was fought with weapons, but our mind is also not less than a Kurukshetra, where there is greed, fascination, anger, lust, etc like bad qualities, resembling Kauravas. We have 5 sense organs resembling Pandavas, with these 5 sense organs we also need to defeat our bad qualities, then only we can live in peace and freedom .
Shri Krishna is the symbol of our inner self or consciousness, which answers us in our difficult situations and help us, and every human being resembles Arjuna, who is all circled with difficulties and dilemmas.
Shrimadh Bhagawat Geeta not only give instructions but teach to live in the correct manner. It is like nectar which is not at all confined to only one religion. In it God taught priceless things for the whole universe, which if we follow we can save ourselves from a lot of difficulties.
During Mahabharat, Lord Krishna has given a lot of answers to the mysterious questions regarding lives. The mind of human is still suffering from the same miserabilities, as of that time. The main reason behind this is lack of knowledge. This holy book is like a source of light which gives a lot of knowledge, by knowing it the mind became capable enough to concentrate and get peace.
Life is like ocean, which we have to cross from one side to other, tides and storms are like challenges we need to face. This book is like that cruise which direct us to correct path and help us not to sink away in darkness.
In Kurukshetra, the war was about to start. Both armies were in front of each other with lots of great warriors in both armies. On one side, there was Narayani sena of Lord Krishna, while on the other side Shri Krishna himself without weapons as a charioteer of Arjun.
It was the time for the war to start, but Arjuna was disturbed seeing his own family members on the opposite side.
Shri Krishna answered every questions raised by Arjuna due to his dilemma.
Though it was a conversation between Shri Krishna and Arjuna but everyone there was able to hear it. It is also said that Shri Krishna stopped time during this conversation.
Sanjay conveyed this conversation to Dhritarashtra. Mahabharta was written in conversation, with the help of Lord Ganesha and Maharishi Ved Vyas.
